Ad-Diriyya Governorate Building – 2016
Ad-Diriyyah doesn’t only have traditional looking Buildings. There is also this Saudi/Najdi modern designed governmental building.
The facade looks like it’s made out of copper but it’s actually made out of synthetic-plates with all those triangle shapes inspired by the traditional Saudi/Najdi architecture.
In 2016 it won the first place at an architecture award organized by Riyadh development.
📐Architect: Rasem Badran.
📍Location: “Muhafazat Ad-diriyyah”, Al Imam Abdulaziz Ibn Mohammad Ibn Saud St, Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
