”At-tahliah street“ – ”شارع التحلية”

If you want to see a colorful, lively place in Riyadh, then this is definitly a place to visit.

At’tahliah is a very attractive street and it is known for it’s wide pedestrian walkways, fancy street light poles, good restaurants and coffee shops and a plenty of luxurious cars moving around.

The street is a serious eating destination with some famouse international foodchains. You can get fresh baked french croissant, italian espresso, american Burger, english fish and chips, Japanese shushis or even vegan options on that same street.

It all started in the late 90’s, when international restaurants and cafes bacame part of the street. Slowly afterwards and with growing number of young people in Riyadh, the street gained popularity, mainly for it’s good food and cafés.

However, the real life of the street began in the early 2000‘s after the development project,which turned it to what we see today. It became even more attractive and created a new modern dining scene in riyadh.

At’tahliah street became one of the main place for many people to hangout, especially young ones. It’s also place where young street artist can express themselves by making some graffiti art.

It is no longer the main food destination. Other new neigborhoods are now having an area to attract world class culnary and art lovers.
