The Islamic Art Museum in Riyadh is having a temporary exhibition for the art of Arabic Manuscripts.

In the middle ages many books and manuscripts were made with an artistic touch using gilding, calligraphy and miniatures, which made them distinguished from manuscripts of different eras.

In this museum, visitors will have a chance to see some of the rarest collections of original Arabic and Islamic manuscripts owned by The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.

It has some of the oldest, well kept books of the middle ages such as ”Kallila and Dimna“ that are quite rare to find nowadays.
